The Tin Man

Walking alone at night hes nevert felt… less safe.     This piece was also used to study how light from multiple sources affects different materials and surfaces.

Imaginary landscape

A small piece of an imaginary landscape, that enables us to look into the vast distance of a river canyon, from a lakeside vewpoint.

The next millennium

A digital painting, portraying a theoretical event in the not so distant future. Of course this is highly fictional, but interesting to imagine and depict non the less.

Human form study

This pencil drawing, was created during one of drawing classes on my Faculty. It is a depiction of my schoolmate, posing for reference. I used various amounts of pressure, to create an illusion of distance on some parts of the body.

Equine anatomy study

I had a lot of fun creating this study of horse anatomy, as a part of my high school drawing classes. It doesnt have strong shadows, except for those on the contours between muscules or joints, to further emphasize the anatomy.

Human anatomy study

This is a study, not of human body as a whole, but as seperate limbs and details, with focus on feet, hands, eyes, noses and mouths. Studies range from simple sketches of proportions, to fully developed illustrations.

Human foot with a fedora hat

What started as a study of human foot anatomy, turned into a comical illustration of the art student’s ingenuity.

Corrupted Tin Man

A drawing of a corrupted man, inspired by the character of the Tin man, from the Wizard of Oz film and Fiddlesticks, from game League of legends. I find combining organic and artificial materials, very satisfying and the most interesting to draw, of all the different themes and this creation is the perfect representation of that. This sketch was also an inspiration for the “The Tin Man” illustration.

Small space illustration

With this illustration, I explored the lighting conditions of a small confined space, with only a single light source. What became of it, was a moment of calm, for the puppet, depicted in the drawing, resting his head on a Staedtler pencil sharpener, after a long day of evading human eyesight.
