Silence

The picture is thematically related to the problems of global warming, the blurring of trees in the distance represents
air pollution, drains in the middle indicate pollution through sewers and the release of dangerous substances into nature, while the trees below are a metaphor for burning fossil fuels. Hand in foreground, with a gesture, warns of silence about global warming, which we, as a society, started taking seriously, only relatively not long ago.

Spontaneous death

The composition of the picture is built in such a way that it leads our gaze to the mountain in the middle. This motif distracts us from the scene unfolding in front of our noses. The driver of the blue car, after avoiding a small lamb, turned off the road and had a fatal accident. By losing his life, the driver saved a life of an innocent animal.

Fantasy landscape

This painting was created as part of the school programme. It represents a combination of nature and technology (three towers). The purpose of this task was to use spatial keys, to create a feeling of distant perspecive.

Natural landscape

After many hours of Bob Ross’s videos on youtube, I attempted to create my own original landscape painting, by incorporating the tehniques of the finest artist on youtube.

It’s a small world

Another original natural landscape, but this time, painted on a canvas, smaller than a pencil. This was primarily just a small challange, though it turned into an exploration of bigger themes.

The people – series

This series represents my view on society in general. I used different desaturated colours for commenting on “the people”, representing emotions, diversity, human nature and so on. I chose an abstract style so it wouldn’t be too suggestive and so that these works could be interpreted as desired.

The deep blue

An abstract representation of the vastness and emptyness of the deep blue arctic sea. From the hints of white colour, we get a sense of cold arctic climate, and immediatly after, we get even colder, when faced with the dark blue color, signalising the deepest parts of the ocean.

Rose gold

A result of experimentation with acrilyc colours, of varying quality and viscosity. There is an abundance of different textures and layers to experience in this piece, although a close resembelance of pink colour to a human skin tone, can trigger some viewers.

The slave ship – recreation

The painting is my recreation of “The slave ship”, originally painted by a the British artist J. M. W. Turner. I recreated it as closely as I could, for a school project. It took me ten hours of non-stop work.
